Half of the city's area is made up of natural spaces, with over 400 hectares of publics parks and gardens.

The first garden was created in 1801, le jardin de la colline de Puget.

In 1967, in preparation for the construction of the Centre Bourse, revealed a site of great archaelogical interest : le jardin des Vestiges. A park to be visited.
